Toddlers

I started working at Mount Hope almost twelve years ago in the summer program and after care and have since continued to grow in my role at Mount Hope. I have my certificate in Early Childhood Growth and Development and am EEC Certified. I love working with toddlers and being able to see them grow for a longer period of time than just a normal school year. I am currently living with my three children, who attend Mount Hope, and my husband. I have been a part of Mount Hope Church my whole life. Currently my family and I are attending church at their Belmont Campus.

Toddlers

My name is Desiree Wickham. I have been working in early childcare for 25+ years. I earned my infant/toddler certification in 2001. I worked at Children's Playhouse Daycare in Everett Ma until I became an Au pair/Nanny for a family in Burlington in 2005-2015. Because of the children's schedule, I also worked as a toddler teacher at Artisan Child Care center between 2007-2011 in the mornings. In 2012-2015 I worked for a family in Charlestown. I would work in the mornings and then travel to Burlington for the afternoon. I always enjoyed taking care of the children and helping the families. I got married in 2011 and had my first born in 2013. During this time I completed my Associates degree in Liberal Arts. I then had my twins in 2015, and returned back to school to finish my bachelor's degree in elementary education at Liberty University in 2018. In 2019 God led me on a new journey. I found Mount Hope Christian School. This will be my second year and all of my children attend this school. I love being a teacher, I love working for my Mount Hope, I love the staff and my students. It has been such a blessing to be part of such a great school. And it's such a blessing to be part of your children lives. Looking forward to meeting all of our families. God Bless!

Preschool
Blue Room

Bev started at MHCS as a volunteer and then pre-school assistant in 1992 with Mrs. Treworgy. She got her EEC certification from Middlesex Community College and have been co-teaching in the blue room for 5 years. “I have always loved working with preschoolers and watching their excitement when they come into class. I like to see their transformation from toddlers to preschoolers just loving to learn new things everyday in school. I get so excited when they realize they learned something new and tell their parents about it.” Bev’s favorite part of working is to be able to be in a Christian School environment. She loves to watch them grow spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. “I love that I can do devotions everyday with them (on their level), pray with them when Mommy or Daddy aren’t feeling well and to say a blessing before our meal time in school.” Bev has been married for 43 years, she has 4 children and 9 grandchildren. In her leisure time she enjoys helping people wherever there is a need, boating, snow skiing and vacationing anywhere with her family. “I feel blessed to be able to be at Mount Hope. It isn’t just a school it is a family where we all have the same goal.”
