My name is Desiree Wickham. I have been working in early childcare for 25+ years. I earned my infant/toddler certification in 2001. I worked at Children's Playhouse Daycare in Everett Ma until I became an Au pair/Nanny for a family in Burlington in 2005-2015. Because of the children's schedule, I also worked as a toddler teacher at Artisan Child Care center between 2007-2011 in the mornings. In 2012-2015 I worked for a family in Charlestown. I would work in the mornings and then travel to Burlington for the afternoon. I always enjoyed taking care of the children and helping the families. I got married in 2011 and had my first born in 2013. During this time I completed my Associates degree in Liberal Arts. I then had my twins in 2015, and returned back to school to finish my bachelor's degree in elementary education at Liberty University in 2018. In 2019 God led me on a new journey. I found Mount Hope Christian School. This will be my second year and all of my children attend this school. I love being a teacher, I love working for my Mount Hope, I love the staff and my students. It has been such a blessing to be part of such a great school. And it's such a blessing to be part of your children lives. Looking forward to meeting all of our families. God Bless!
