Meet our Elementary Teachers

1st Grade
Cindy Sippel

Cindy grad­u­at­ed from Penn-State Uni­ver­si­ty with a degree in Ear­ly Child­hood and Ele­men­tary Edu­ca­tion. Pri­or to com­ing to Mount Hope in 2001, she taught in PA, VA, and in Malden, MA. Cindy loves teach­ing the Bible and mak­ing it come alive. She also loves teach­ing Read­ing. Cindy believes 1st Grade is such a crit­i­cal year for chil­dren to devel­op a love of read­ing and it’s a joy to see when that hap­pens. She enjoys read­ing and spend­ing time with her hus­band, her three daugh­ters, and her grand­son.



1st Grade
Kendra Polson

Kendra grad­u­at­ed from East­ern Nazarene Col­lege with her degree in teach­ing.  She has been work­ing at Mount Hope for 12 years.  Her two chil­dren also attend Mount Hope.








2nd Grade
Jessica Bishop

Jes­si­ca grad­u­at­ed from Gor­don Col­lege with a BA in Spe­cial Edu­ca­tion and Span­ish. She came to Mount Hope in 2007 after teach­ing Bilin­gual Spe­cial Edu­ca­tion at Salton­stall Ele­men­tary School in Salem, MA. Jes­si­ca wants her stu­dents to embrace their dif­fer­ences and appre­ci­ate each mem­ber of their class. She enjoys read­ing books and spend­ing time with her fam­i­ly; her hus­band and their two daugh­ters who both attend Mount Hope Chris­tian School.




 2nd Grade
Gabriella Paredes

A grad­u­ate from Salem State Uni­ver­si­ty with a Bach­e­lors in Ear­ly Edu­ca­tion and Psy­chol­o­gy, Gab­by joined Mount Hope in 2012.  She com­plet­ed her practicum and stu­dent teach­ing here and was sub­se­quent­ly hired as a lead teacher in the Preschool. Pri­or to com­ing to Mount Hope, Gab­by worked at oth­er EEC cer­ti­fied preschools. She worked in the pub­lic school sys­tem grades K-12 for two years as a sub­sti­tute teacher. Gab­by has over 15 years’ expe­ri­ence work­ing one on one with chil­dren with dis­abil­i­ties and with chil­dren from infan­cy to mid­dle school as a nan­ny.



3rd Grade
Lorraine King

Lor­raine grad­u­at­ed from Boston State Col­lege with a Bach­e­lors of Sci­ence in Edu­ca­tion. She start­ed at Mount Hope in 2001 as a preschool teacher and began teach­ing 3rd Grade in 2008. Pri­or to com­ing to Mount Hope, she was a preschool teacher and a man­ager in bank­ing. In Lorraine’s words, “This is a gift God gave to me after my hus­band passed away. He has given me one of the joys of my heart by plac­ing me here at Mount Hope.” She enjoys Bible Stud­ies, her two Cock­er­poos, fash­ion and design. Lor­raine lives in Bed­ford and has three chil­dren.



4th Grade
Rosemary Schiavi

Rose­mary grad­u­at­ed from Queens Col­lege with a BA in Ele­men­tary Edu­ca­tion and Eco­nom­ics and a Master’s Degree in Eco­nom­ics. Pri­or to com­ing to Mount Hope in 2001, she taught mid­dle school math at Agape Chris­tian Acad­e­my, was an Adjunct Assis­tant Pro­fes­sor at the Col­lege of Insur­ance, and was the Assis­tant Direc­tor of Eco­nom­ic Analy­sis at CBS. Rose­mary is a mem­ber of Who’s Who in Amer­i­can Teach­ers, the Nation­al Coun­cil of Teach­ers of Math­e­mat­ics, and the Inter­na­tion­al Read­ing Asso­ci­a­tion. She is pas­sion­ate about show­ing her stu­dents strate­gies for suc­cess in their aca­d­e­mic endeav­ors and see­ing them grow in the Lord’s way. Rose­mary enjoys knit­ting, hik­ing, swim­ming, and play­ing with her dogs. She lives in Lex­ing­ton with her hus­band and they have two grown sons.


5th Grade
Heather Gregorowicz

Heather grad­u­at­ed from East­ern Nazarene Col­lege with a major in Ele­men­tary Edu­ca­tion and received her Mas­ters Degree in Lit­er­a­cy from Les­ley Uni­ver­si­ty. Heather was the 4th and 5th grade teacher at Mount Hope from 2001–2005. She returned in 2011 as a Stu­dent Ser­vices teacher and is now teach­ing the 5th grade. Heather enjoys read­ing, hik­ing, and spend­ing time with her hus­band and two chil­dren, both of whom cur­rent­ly attend Mount Hope.
