Cindy graduated from Penn-State University with a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Prior to coming to Mount Hope in 2001, she taught in PA, VA, and in Malden, MA. Cindy loves teaching the Bible and making it come alive. She also loves teaching Reading. Cindy believes 1st Grade is such a critical year for children to develop a love of reading and it’s a joy to see when that happens. She enjoys reading and spending time with her husband, her three daughters, and her grandson.
Kendra graduated from Eastern Nazarene College with her degree in teaching. She has been working at Mount Hope for 12 years. Her two children also attend Mount Hope.
A graduate from Salem State University with a Bachelors in Early Education and Psychology, Gabby joined Mount Hope in 2012. She completed her practicum and student teaching here and was subsequently hired as a lead teacher in the Preschool. Prior to coming to Mount Hope, Gabby worked at other EEC certified preschools. She worked in the public school system grades K-12 for two years as a substitute teacher. Gabby has over 15 years’ experience working one on one with children with disabilities and with children from infancy to middle school as a nanny.
Lorraine graduated from Boston State College with a Bachelors of Science in Education. She started at Mount Hope in 2001 as a preschool teacher and began teaching 3rd Grade in 2008. Prior to coming to Mount Hope, she was a preschool teacher and a manager in banking. In Lorraine’s words, “This is a gift God gave to me after my husband passed away. He has given me one of the joys of my heart by placing me here at Mount Hope.” She enjoys Bible Studies, her two Cockerpoos, fashion and design. Lorraine lives in Bedford and has three children.
Rosemary graduated from Queens College with a BA in Elementary Education and Economics and a Master’s Degree in Economics. Prior to coming to Mount Hope in 2001, she taught middle school math at Agape Christian Academy, was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the College of Insurance, and was the Assistant Director of Economic Analysis at CBS. Rosemary is a member of Who’s Who in American Teachers, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, and the International Reading Association. She is passionate about showing her students strategies for success in their academic endeavors and seeing them grow in the Lord’s way. Rosemary enjoys knitting, hiking, swimming, and playing with her dogs. She lives in Lexington with her husband and they have two grown sons.
Heather graduated from Eastern Nazarene College with a major in Elementary Education and received her Masters Degree in Literacy from Lesley University. Heather was the 4th and 5th grade teacher at Mount Hope from 2001–2005. She returned in 2011 as a Student Services teacher and is now teaching the 5th grade. Heather enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her husband and two children, both of whom currently attend Mount Hope.
