Alumni Spotlight

I just want to say that Mt. Hope paved a path for me, where I am on that path now is thanks to Mt. Hope. I understand all of the concepts my teachers teach. I am not falling behind in any of my classes. In fact, I was on the First Honors Roll in Trimester 1 (2017-2018 school year)! I got a big part in my school’s Christmas play (2017) and auditioned for the Spring Play (thanks for preparing me Ms. Walton). All of the Mt. Hope staff prepared me well and expanded my relationship with Jesus! Thanks!

Mt. Hope did not just educate me, it created a family that I was very comfortable around. We still keep in touch with a massive group chat with the whole class. Mt. Hope prepared me for the difficulties of life beyond elementary school, mostly by ensuring my strong relationship with Jesus. Not to mention Mt. Hope puts me academically ahead of other people in my grade. This is my second year in BEAM, Burlington Extended Academic Models, and I have been in honors every single trimester. Mt. Hope was the part of my life I wish could last forever, and in a way it does through Jayden, my younger brother in the 1st grade at Mt. Hope.

Parent Perspective

Dear Mount Hope family,

Thank you so much for your generosity and continued love toward Alec and the Easton family. We are honored to be part of your school and Christ-centered community.

It has been a privilege to have Alec attend Mount Hope for the past three years. It has been a joy to watch Alec grow in his studies and spiritual maturity, and it has been an unexpected blessing to watch the impact of your school be so far-reaching to my extended family and local community as time continues. I’ve watched a light kindle and ignite within Alec that only speaks to the glory of Jesus. I thank you all for your very big part in creating such an environment where students can grow in the love, confidence and stability that is unique to a place where Christ abounds.

I am grateful to the gifted teachers and staff who continually go above and beyond to make school a fund, exciting place to go every day and for how they help each student realize God’s purpose for his or her life. I am grateful for the tremendous amount of work put into hosting creative programs to draw people in and to spreading acts of kindness throughout the community. Thank you so much for all that you have invested in Alec in time, patience, correction and assistance. Your school has mightily blessed my family.
I look forward to the next year and God’s unfolding plan.

Dear Mount Hope,

Thank you very much for all your love, patience, time and guidance to our son in the past 5 years.

Our son’s first day of attending preschool in yellow room in 2013 is still fresh in my memory. It is hard to believe that he completed Grade 1 this year. He loves Mount Hope so much. Whenever he was sick and needed to stay home, he cried and told me he missed his classmates and teachers.

I am very grateful that he learned not only just knowledge but also, most importantly, learned how to follow Jesus from the Bible in Mount Hope and how to love and be loved by people around him.

It was never easy for our son to say goodbye to Mount Hope, a place that he has a very wonderful memory. I am sure that impact of Mount Hope is definitely many years ahead of him.

May God continue to use Mount Hope to guide our little kids to know and follow Him so that our kids are all well prepared and equipped to face the challenge in the world. Once again, thank you for everything you did for kids in Mount Hope.
